There are three airports in the vincinity of Wuppertal:
Düsseldorf International Airport (www.duesseldorf-international.de) (ca. 20 min.)

There are train connections to Wuppertal from all three airports:
Düsseldorf-Wuppertal: every 20 minutes
S-Bahn S11 (departs from the Terminal area C) or Regio-Bahn RE (departs from the main airport station, which is reached by skytrain or bus) to Düsseldorf main train station (Hbf), change to S-Bahn S8 or RE train to Wuppertal main train station (Hbf)
Price: Adults 4.50 EUR, under 18's 1.30 EUR single
Travel time: approx. 40 - 50 minutes, depending on the connection
Cologne-Wuppertal: every 30 minutes
Regio-Bahn RE towards Mönchengladbach or S-Bahn S13 towards Cologne-Hansaring, change at train station Cologne-Deutz to the RE train towards Münster or Wuppertal, to Wuppertal main train station (Hbf)
Price: Adults 16 to 25 EUR, under 18's 8 to 10 EUR single
Travel time: approx. 1 hour 15 minutes depending on the connection
Dortmund-Wuppertal: every 20 or 40 minutes
Bus to Holzwickede train station, change to Regio-Bahn RE or Euro-Bahn ERB to Wuppertal main train station (Hbf)
Price: Adults 4.50 EUR, under 18's 1.30 EUR single
Travel time: approx. 1 hour 10 minutes depending on the connection
Also this year we are offering them the possibility of the Airports Düsseldorf International, Dortmund and Cologne / Bonn to use our shuttle service.
If we receive your flight details, we will let you know when we will pick up them. In addition they receive the appropriate confirmation of booking.
The cost per person one way amount to 25,00 EUR, that are payable in advance.

Should you prefer to come by car, there are car parks and underground parking between the historical town hall, Schwimmoper and the Arcadia hotel.
Please be aware that you might need a so called 'emissions permit' on your car windscreen to enter the city of Wuppertal. Hire cars should have this, otherwise please ask the hire car company for it.
If you arrive by private car, there is ample parking space (including an underground car park) between the historical townhall, the Schwimmoper and Hotel Arcadia.
